Asia: India, Japan, and Southeast Asia.
This vast geographical reach and lifelong industry authority guarantee that OVP understands the physical realities of global petroleum supply chains, ensuring buyers receive direct, reliable access to premium products.
To ensure global reach and personalized service, OVP is supported by a team of 6 to 8 regional agents. These representatives engage with potential buyers to facilitate initial communications, verify credentials, and ensure a seamless transition into our strict transaction protocol.
To filter out unauthorized intermediaries and ensure swift execution, OVP strictly adheres to standard international petroleum trade protocols. We require all prospective buyers and their legally appointed agents to engage through established, compliant channels.
Financial Verification: To verify a buyer's capability and readiness to engage in a successful transaction, OVP only partners with fully vetted buyers. Prospective buyers must provide verifiable Proof of Funds (POF) from a bank early in the engagement process. Inquiries lacking proper corporate documentation or demonstrated financial capacity will be immediately dismissed.
1. Initial Engagement
The direct Buyer or their authorized representative initiates the process by submitting a clearly stated Letter of Intent (LOI) on official company letterhead. (LOI templates can be provided upon request).
2. Soft Corporate Offer (SCO) & Consultation
Upon verifying product availability, OVP issues a Soft Corporate Offer (SCO) outlining base pricing and the available refinery procedures. We schedule a direct consultation with the Buyer or their agent to ensure the refinery procedures are fully understood before proceeding.
3. NCNDA & ICPO Submission
To lock in the agreed price, prevent unauthorized markups, and protect all parties, a Non-Circumvention, Non-Circumvention, Non-Disclosure Agreement (NCNDA) must be signed by both the actual Buyer and the Seller.
Following the NCNDA, the Buyer submits an Irrevocable Corporate Purchase Order (ICPO) on their corporate letterhead.
Critical Requirement: The ICPO must strictly mirror the refinery procedures agreed upon in the NCNDA. Any ICPO submitted without the accompanying Buyer-signed NCNDA will be automatically rejected.
4. Direct Refinery Introduction & Contracting
Once the accepted ICPO and NCNDA are verified, the documents are submitted directly to the refinery for immediate processing. The refinery will then issue the Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA), Commercial Invoice (CI), or MOU. At this stage, the Buyer is officially introduced to the refinery to finalize the transaction.
Accepted Financial Instruments
Standby Letter of Credit (SBLC - MT760)
Documentary Letter of Credit (DLC - MT700)
Telegraphic Transfer (TT / MT103) upon successful SGS/CIQ inspection at the port of loading or discharge.
Pre-advice Bank-to-Bank Verification: A preliminary MT199 or MT799 using a Block Fund (BF), Bank Assurance Letter (BAL), or Bank Comfort Letter (BCL) may be requested to confirm financial capability before finalizing allocation.
